This is a curious question to a student who has studied two years in this new pandemic world. I know, no one wanted or spected this, but... it is what it is. Even teachers or the university itself did'nt know what to do, and thats why the very first years sucks in big.
Althought all of that... I like filmmaking in this university. Is cool, rewarding and fun. A little bit stressing, but all mayors are stressing. I dont really know what to get better. You know, more practical education, give space to new proposals and not only top tier cinema and nothing like fun stories. Studing is expensive, bur that its a problem to this whole contry, so its not a uchile filmmaking problem. Better equipment? Whe are in Latinamerica, Chile, and I understand that reallity.
Oh... Writhing this I remember something... Why the heck we have to do PSU to get into Filmmaking? Why we have to do that crap, for god sake. I suffer like no one to get into this mayor. I did PSU, the points where not enough. I enter to other mayor to do Internal Transfer, then a WHOLE YEAR having good marks I could get into Filmmaking. With a vocational interview. WHY I CANT DO THAT IN THE FIRST PLACE?!?!?!?!?!? Why Uchile dont let me do that in the freaking start?! My teacher of Script, Orlando Lubbert, said to me he want to do that, because in that way the university get better students, more committed and not people who could and did. But Uchile dont let him. Thats my change to this study progtam. Now Im angry, thanks. God sake...
